Hello!

I am a 32 year author from Vermont. I wish being an author was my full-time job, but alas it not…yet!  I have lived all over New England but I returned to my birth-State as an adult about ten years ago.  I am married with one young daughter and a female cat named Chester (long story). I have always enjoyed writing and write what I like to read: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Survival, Horror and Adventure. My first novel, “Break Away,” which combines many of these genres, was published in November 2014 and my second novel, the sequel/conclusion to Break Away, is currently being written.  My writing, while fiction, is based in reality and I feel is very topical to current world events.

I created this blog to detail my struggles and joys while I write and experience the ups and downs of being a self-published author in a system skewed toward traditional publishing.  This blog has updates, rants, musings, and hopefully positive accomplishments!
